As we approach the end of another busy year, we wanted to share updates from your team at Adpol. You may have noticed a quiet spell from us recently, apologies for that. We’ve been hard at work improving and developing new services, investing in our facilities, and continuing to work with customers to develop new product and solutions to their challenges.
Current Lead Times
If you require materials or components before year-end, please submit your orders as soon as possible, production slots are filling quickly.
Last despatch date: 19th December
Skeleton crew available: 22nd–24th December
Current lead times:
- Extrusion: ~2-3 weeks
- Moulding: ~2-3 weeks
- Cut & Joined Gaskets: ~3-4 weeks
- Cut Flat Gaskets: ~2 weeks
- Adhesive Backing: ~2-3 weeks
- Neoprene / Viton / EPDM: ~2-3 weeks
We are working to reduce these times throughout 2026. Urgent requirements, such as line stops or AOG requests will continue to be supported wherever possible with expedited options.
Investment & Expansion
To meet increased demand, we’ve continued to recruit and invest in our facilities. A new fabrication room has been created, providing dedicated space for our punching and adhesive backing departments. These improvements offer better lighting, additional capacity, and an enhanced working environment to support high-quality output and acceptable lead times.

Strengthening Our Quality Function
Quality sits at the heart of everything we do. To continue meeting rising compliance and legislative requirements, we’ve expanded our quality department.
Hafsa Areeb has joined us as Quality Admin, acting as the main point of contact for suppliers and customers and ensuring swift responses.
Marta Meczykowska has moved into the role of Quality Supervisor, overseeing production and goods-in processes.
Our commitment to quality remains one of Adpol’s greatest strengths, and we hope this continues to shine through in the service you receive.
Performance & Audit Results
Adpol operates under its own KPIs, which are measured and audited as part of our AS9100 Aerospace Manufacturing Standard. Over the past 12 months, we are pleased to report:
- On-time deliveries (Target: 95%) – Achieved: 98% ✅
- Quotes turned around within 48 hours – Achieved: 98% ✅
- Customer rejects (Target: <0.8%) – Achieved: 0.36% ✅
We also successfully completed our annual 3-day audit in September, extending our AS9100 certification through to 2027.
Team Update:
This year, we also said goodbye to Michelle Heffernan, who has moved on to new opportunities. We thank her sincerely for her contributions and the positivity she brought to the team.
We also say hello to Amelia Newnham joining us in the office, with her engineering and polymers background she is a real asset. We hope you get the chance to work with her soon.
